She asked what is the CRIME and she probably meant specific charges but it isn’t what she ended up asking so he answered correctly. She then called it a category and he corrected her saying RICO is a collection of crimes, which is the accurate description. She specifically said RICO is not a crime, proving her ignorance. The judge is right, and so was the man. There is a long list of charges for various crimes under RICO but everything covered by it is a crime, “RICO charges” is a popular phrase, everyone knows that. Usually a person is charged with various charges under its umbrella. By asking for the crime -that is the broad term where the word crime can apply to many actions not covered within RICO, so he gave her the broad answer of RICO, which in fact points to the type of crimes- precisely what she asked for. She misspoke and the correct way to phrase the question would have been ‘what are the specific CHARGES?’. Of course liberals will desperately defend it regardless.
