this happened to me at my back door. someone was knocking. I looked out, and there was a really scary man looking back at me... Then he said in a scary voice, " Let me in. that was 30 years ago, and I remember it just like it happened yesterday.
it is too bad that every one is scared of him at least he was knocking to get someone's attention. i remember going to sleep with our door unlocked. now thanks to.our valiant leader we can't do that anymore.
If I lived in a house the first thing I am getting is two big pitbulls or German shepherd.
I live in the country but about two miles off of I95. it's an exit that is at an industrial area. I don't worry too much about someone showing up at my house, for one thing you can't see it from the road and I have an automatic gate. The only one that gets to my front door is my son because I have a Doberman and a pit bull and a mix that is a proven biter. I have a doggie door open for them all the time plus I always carry a gun. We have open carry in my state. Nothings perfect but I feel secure enough to be comfortable.
That's why you keep a firearm with you always...

You can’t just shoot someone for knocking on your window or door at 3:00am. If they come inside, it’s a different story. I see there’s a lot of tough guys out there who say they would. You have to be sensible and justified or you’re in big trouble.
my absolute biggest fear is looking out a window at night and seeing a strange man looking back at me. but I keep my firearm downstairs. why is he not knocking on the door??
Years ago we had a young girl with a toddler knock on our door at 2:30 AM. My husband answered it and she was looking for a ride. Her boyfriend had kicked her and her baby out. He took them and even stopped by a grocery store for her.
When I was 8 or 9 I stayed at a family friend's house. The bedrooms were upstairs. I came down the stairs walked around the corner and I walked about 3 to 4 feet I looked out the window and this dirty-looking man was looking intently in the window. It was really dark but there was a porch light on that's how I saw him. I screamed at the top of my lungs waking everyone up. The father chased him but the guy got away, but he got a good look at him. Come to find out after that happened, the guy got charged with 3 counts of rape. I found that out when I got older. To this day I'm afraid of the dark. I remember it like it was yesterday.
So what happened?? Another incomplete story 😡😡

pretty sure that's the homeowner having locked himself out after going outside.. trying to get housemates attention to let em back in is what it looks like to me. Too casual with his relaxed shoulders and pocketed hand.. he's comfortable but looks embarrassed simultaneously. That's likely his house

It was about 6 months after my Mom died from Cancer. I was 21 and trying to get used to her being gone. I came home from. the bar went into my house from garage. the sliding patio door was open. I closed it then ooked up the stairs. The was a guy thought it was my brother. Well it was not my brother. I said to him. Barry why did you eave the patio door wide open. The guy said Barry this isn't Barry. I flew out the front door and ran next door. I was stuttering! I finally got it out " Someone is in my house! Then noticed he was having a house party and it was one of the partiers' that went out his patio door and wandered into my house. Yikes. Yea thought in my mind......" this guy's probably killed my Dad and Brother but he's not getting me!". 😲😆

We had that happen one time. It was the neighbor from across the street trying to get us out because the drunk lady on the other half of our duplex fell asleep with a cigarette. The fire blew out the window, and that's when they saw the flames billowing out. No, the crazy drunk lady didn't make it, but the rest of us did. 💕
