this happened to me at my back door. someone was knocking. I looked out, and there was a really scary man looking back at me... Then he said in a scary voice, " Let me in. that was 30 years ago, and I remember it just like it happened yesterday.
I had several break in’s. The 3rd time I was home. This is what the guy did, seeing if I was home. I was, with a 357 and let him break in the back door. I fired and missed, but he jumped sky high and the police who caught him said he pooped his pants. I moved.
it is too bad that every one is scared of him at least he was knocking to get someone's attention. i remember going to sleep with our door unlocked. now thanks to.our valiant leader we can't do that anymore.

I have a 95 obsession pit bull mix, a 109 lb German shepherd, a loaded. 38 and a mini 14 loaded with 223 hollow points. multiple cross bows and deadly aim. I have a clip that goes in my boot and holds a 7 inch stiletto. my dad was a career Texas state trooper and I fought off a rapist who tore my clothes and wouldn't get out of my car. I grabbed the back of his hair and busted his mouth open (he wore braces)on my stick shift. he was crying and I pushed him out of my car. this was in the red lobster parking lot and not one person offered to help. I'm 5'2" but wasn't having it.

I was home alone on Christmas with my infant daughter sleeping in her crib. About midnight, I heard 2 male voices outside the back door, and metal scraping sounds. I realized they were trying to pry open my door, so I jumped out of bed, grabbed the machete that always hung on the bedpost. I stood next to the door with the machete raised, and let them know loudly, the first appendage that came thru the door was getting chopped off! They took off running! It had snowed lightly, and the police followed the footprints into the canal and lost them. But I was dead serious I was going to cut something off 👍😲

I’ve had an apartment broken into and guns stolen in Maryland in 72; my house in Virginia in 83 and both times they knew I was gone. Each time 95% of items were recovered. Our property in Mississippi had an attempted break in 10 yrs ago. One thing each idiot had in common was I had tried to help someone in need. I’ve always locked my doors and for the most part carried. Point is crime has been happening since Cain picked up a rock and you cannot fix stupid. Ignorance you can educate. Stupid is intentional.
I've never been a big gun guy even though Im an ex marine but I do have a colt 45 for the exact reason in this video. For home protection I feel everyone should have something whether it is a firearm or a security-trained dog.

My "watchdog" is a French/English Bulldog. 40 pounds. Effective? Mama has a .357, a .38, 12 gauge & a .22. An air pistol that looks like an automatic. That's just for show. If they see that, then the .357 is the next thing they'll gaze upon. Or I should say - the LAST thing they'll see. I don't play.

one morning about 2 or 3 someone started banging on my front door. My husband and kids were on a camping trip. I peeked through the little scope. He started yelling, your palm tree is on fire. He told me his name and said he had already called the fire dept. He kept yelling. in a minute I heard sirens. Sure enough one of our trees was on fire and he was trying to get us out of the house. He lived a couple of streets behind us, and he was on his way home. The police said they had several calls, several trees in our city had been set on fire. It Scared the sleep out of me.
Years ago we had a young girl with a toddler knock on our door at 2:30 AM. My husband answered it and she was looking for a ride. Her boyfriend had kicked her and her baby out. He took them and even stopped by a grocery store for her.

I was pregnant in 1980 n was at the. laundry n I wasn't familiar with the town because I went with my husband for a new job n he was at work.I turn around an black guy was stairing at me so I grabbed my laundry n headed back to motel which was across town n 30 min later a knock at the door so I looked out an same guy was at my door so I call front desk n the manager ran him off.Till this day don't know what he wanted.He had been in some tragic accident because his face was put together n didn't look right.

The guy is white guy approximately 5’8 to 6’2 mid 50-70s wears glasses , probably a raspiest/ serial killer who either has been stalking you for a long time or is someone you’ve come in contact with at a Home Depot , Lowe’s , ect that took a fancy to you . If you don’t have a Dog get one , keep the dog in the house get him trained to protect you . Think back on the last several months where you spent time at publicly, the guy could also have been a repair guy of some sort . Start writing everything down you can remember and if you are outside for any time be very aware of you surroundings , stay alert and turn in everything to the cops !!! I was stalked back in the 80s called from someone I was seeing it only stopped when I broke up with him , my girls were small at the time , if you have a camera that you can turn on besides the ring camera do it, the more evidence you collect the better, Stay Safe sweetie
We had that happen one time. It was the neighbor from across the street trying to get us out because the drunk lady on the other half of our duplex fell asleep with a cigarette. The fire blew out the window, and that's when they saw the flames billowing out. No, the crazy drunk lady didn't make it, but the rest of us did. 💕
