Lived in an HOA - we had a fire in the backyard (legally!) and nosey neighbor 2 houses down came up our driveway demanding to see what we were burning (couldn’t see over the PRIVACY fence). Husband ran him off so he climbed up on a ladder in his backyard trying to see. I hollered at him “if you’re gonna be nosey, don’t wear a red shirt”. Then he drove down the side street still trying to see. Proceeded to waste taxpayers money and called the fire department. Fire Chief put it down as a “cooking fire” and laughed it off. There were other incidents but this one took the cake.
