He/She is adorable..Maybe mom moved all the things that could hurt baby, cause baby liked to play with the dishes.. One of my sons wanted to play under the kitchen sink. I moved everything out of that cabinet, he moved in...got toys, and a pillow and he was happy with his" house".. They grow up way too fast...Cherish the memories...
Those of you who are scolding Mom on this post. Bless Your Hearts, Y'all have forgotten what it was like to be a child, you've also forgotten how to be nice to each other. Now, just look at him, she is right there with him. No harm, No foul. He's as happy as an old heffer chewin' her cud while standin' in the creek. He ain't hurt, he ain't crying and he ain't done one dadgum thing to bother you. Mom is right there and has been from the beginning I'd bet. The only thing wrong with this situation is that a bunch of old busy bodies had to try and hurt someone's feelings because they don't have anything better to do. Grow up y'all. Why didn't she instantly say no no no no ! that could really hurt you, then take anything that could hurt him off the floor, and have him pick up the rest and put them in a bowl. He needs to know that that's a no no. Anything that could possibly hurt him if for instance she fell asleep should be instilled in him, that he must get in there.

It doesn't matter if knives are in the dishwasher there is glass in there if the baby grabs a plate or glass and drops or throws it down it could get hurt from broken glass. This is why kids don't listen when you tell them not to do something because of the stupid stuff people thinks is cute, it only takes a second for a tragedy. Take some parenting classes you need them.
