Lord I hate an abusive learning experience, kids brains quickly shuts down to the learning experience from trauma and makes them more frustrated when it comes to learning. Also instead of kids being focused on problem solving and finding different routes to actually understand things they'd just rather find the quickest way to a right answer and be so scared of being in trouble rather than actually trying to absorb and immerse themselves in their lessons.

So your method of teaching is to scare him and make him feel like he's gonna get popped with a belt if he doesnt do his homework fast enough for you.. Now if you have a man/women and they pulled a belt out to make you talk faster would that be okay? or is it different because it would be towards you? Just because you gave birth and that's your child doesn't mean their not still a human. Kids have emotions just like we do. if your mad it's ok for you to scream,cry, get mad ,pout just completely lose it for a minute but when a child does it their wrong and start talking about whooping or grounding them. if your hungry or thisty and want a snack its okay but when a kid ask its no not till you do this or when I'm done doing this or that is wild af.
