My daughter was five when I had her little brother and the only time she was okay with me holding him is when I was breastfeeding She's always called him her baby and they're both grown today

yes when they're first born they're super easy all they do is sleep, eat and you change your diapers I never understood why people come when they're first born to help come back in 2 months s*** a year when they're trying to crawl all over everything not when they're cute little bundles all you have to do is hold them thanks for the help especially for me mine were only eight pounds or less LOL
