I gave all three of mine mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and chicken. Babies can start eating solids at 6 months. I use to put Rice Cereal in they milk too. 20 1/2 years old (21 next month) 17 1/2 years old (18 in May) and 10 years old (11 in October). All are healthy and never had any problems except the 20 yr. old, he has autism, but it's a genetic thing from me. I love em all. 🙏🏽❤

You may be on to something letting him taste new foods like that. He probably won't be a picky eater. I can see him being confused with plain rice or kids favorite cereal with the oooo's, with little flavor after tastier samples.
