My grandsons 1st words (8yo) was wake up daddy. We were at his funeral.
My autistic son was 6 years old when he said his first words and in a sentence at that. I cried. He said Look daddy it’s Mum😭 He’s 14 now and on his way to ninth grade in the P-Tech program. No behavior issues, no medication. Just God, learned patience and lots of love. He’s an absolute sweetheart and any parents here with a child on the spectrum just know you’ve got this. #AutismStrong💙💙💙💙

I can’t wait and have been praying to hear my five year old talk or say words
One of my nieces are one of 8 oth the autism she has and they said she wouldn’t speak maybe ever but she started a year later and now copies everything you say and has emotions to it. It’s something you have to experience to know how special it is. Now she is saying sentences and much more 2 years later. I am so proud of her and so is the whole family. She lights up any place she goes.
