No! It had nothing to do with removing greenery just for the fun of it! The reason they are doing this is? To help you and everyone else get home faster and safer. These are I installed incase you're driving a Big Rig/ Truck & Trailer and you break down. You're not blocking up a whole lane, and creating traffic hazard blocking the freeway. It's also used when your driving cross country and you run out of hours, by law you have to pull over right away turn off your truck and not move for 10 hours. That's the law! Most of the big cities are not big rig friendly, there are no truck stops in the LA area so these small areas are created to give a big rig driver a little bit of breathing room. Pull over and rest up. I was a cross country truck driver for over 10 years, I would know. I am glad for the drivers that have this small space to pull over and rest.

I grew up there. Back in the sixties and seventies California was a glorious place to grow up in. It started declining in the mid eighties and now I can't even drive through it, it's hideous.

if people weren't walking trash cans, then there would be no need to do this. But bc so many litter and throw their stuff out the window, it makes it hard to clean up the junk. Just put concrete down and it's easier to blow the trash and then pick it up.

Homeless prevention construction started in “22” contractors install certain steel, or create concrete barriers in some states skate parks/ramp areas to prevent homeless ppl from sleeping the area
