Project Status: Construction began in 2015 for luxury condos, a Park Hyatt hotel, and retail, but stopped in 2019. Graffiti Incident: In early 2024, the abandoned towers were broken into and covered in graffiti, becoming a prominent, albeit unauthorized, landmark. Bankruptcy & Sale: Creditors forced the project into bankruptcy, and the unfinished, tagged towers were put up for sale, with negotiations ongoing as of mid-2025.

Well, the government could have shut it down because regulations are weren't followed. Could have been discovered structurally unsound. To many delays investors pulled out. Wasn't making payments on the loan so the bank foreclosed on it. Could be from the housing market crash and can't find an investor to start it up again. City don't care because as long as the structure is there they're getting paid taxes.
