So you think they put heating elements in the seat? Maybe you can find the switch for vertical take-off.

I bought a Ford escort that had an ac compressor but no controls in the dash to operate it, I went to the junk yard and got a dash insert from an escort that had air and plugged it in and the ac worked perfectly.

Go ahead and believe everything you see on the internet because that's how the life works everything you see in the internet is true. Go ahead and go through life and think that I have no problem with you doing that just lets me know who to avoid

That could work as long as you also have the seat to go with it

Even if this were true, the fact that the button wasn't included from the factory leads me to believe the heated seats weren't installed, either. They're not going to install seat heaters in every seat in every car when the orders for the cars don't specifically call for heated seats. That would cost the manufacturers a LOT of money in the long run. Sorry, but this just isn't a real "solution". You still have to buy the seats with the heating elements in order for this to work. I was a dealership tech, so go ahead - fact check me.

It may have been cheaper to add the heat pad to ALL seats than to stock 2 different skews. One with and another without than add different colors and such. If they ALL have it, this cuts the inventory in HALF.

Did this on my truck. It had space for fog lights. I put some factory fog lights in and I got the headlight switch that controlled fog lights. Put those in and it all worked. I’m surprised they put the Bosch relays in.

Most modern vehicles have the same wiring harness, if you know what’s supposed to go in the blank space just buy the switch and do what this guy is doing

Google you vehicle there are some vehicles dodge was famous for it you just need the switch on some models the seats there with the heating pad plug in under the seat and buy a switch

Just because it's wired for it, doesn't mean it has those functions. You still have to install what you didn't originally pay for. 🤷‍♂️

my 08 tahoe had regular side mirrors. I bought heated mirrors w directionals plugged it in, and everything worked . They generally use the same wire harness and plug in extras.. base module vs. luxury options.

I have a 06 Ford focus, in the front bumper it had plastic covers where fog lights would go. I got a set from wrecking yard and stock switch from another Ford installed everything and now have factory fog lights. the wiring for it all was factory installed already, just plug and play.

Trim your booger pickin fingernail on your left hand. Is that to help you sniff cocaine? That is so 1960s ~~a sure giveaway. it's nice that you have a skill, though, changing out "on and off" buttons.🤔

they will have the wiring harness installed for instance fog lights but you have to put in the lights a switch and relays,on some vehicles,so the guy would have to do a lot more than a switch ,they do that to cut back on multiple part #s and overhead expense

I do know, for a fact, that cars used to have speakers in the back that if you opted for them, they would merely plug them in bc they were already in every trim level. Circa 30 years ago😂

Many new cars today have one wire harness installed that would be for most or all possible accessories such as heated seats. But other components would need to be added to make X work. Many add ones are done at the dealership.

I hope you people know that when you mess with a car like this, it can cancel out your warranty, and if there is a recall it can also cancel out the recall. wait till your car is paid off first than mess with this crap.
