Here in the south my cities provide an police escort & other units block intersections..On coming traffic pull to the shoulder of the road when meeting a funeral possession..It's all about respect.
When my mom passed, on the way to the cemetery, I man shut his mower off and took his hat off his head, and placed it across his chest. Touched my heart. 🙏🙏🙏 respect💕
in a funeral it is considered polite to follow behind a a policeman in the state of Tennessee if you do not pull over for a funeral if you pass a police car if you pass the hearse you will lose your license lose your car and go to jail so respect goes a long ways in some states you're not in that big of hurry

When my brother passed (he was a Vietnam veteran), we were driving to the National Cemetery in SC and people pulled to the side of the road, got out of their cars and saluted. Mad respect! We were being escorted by a few military vehicles.
