The man was clearly using logic in a chaotic situation... the cop wanted him to get out of the car and the man was simply trying to tell the cop that the door lock needs to be pulled up to which the cop wasn't listening and then out of pure frustration the man took over THAT part of the encounter to make the cop's job easier and the cop being the trained tyrant that he is took it as a play on his power and then proceeded to try and exert physical dominance over the man to which the cop failed miserably and then threatened to make the man pay for his failure by threatening to take him because he was to weak to take him down

Problem is, no one knows anything about what happened to get into this situation. That being said, both are in the wrong, yes the officer should have chilled out, but the guy was not helping. If there was a violent or report of violence, the police officer is doing right by keeping the persons hands secured. And he should have called for another unit along time ago. This is my 2 cents from a retired officer.
And this is why they need to do better about these cops that have no common sense. The cop was having a power trip and wasn't listening. But it was nice to see him struggle like that. Now either take his badge from him or go back to training. 6 months not long enough to be a cop. 2 or more years so they can learn some more.
