all of these commemts blaming trucker..... the truck and the service truck were on the shoulder doing repairs... the other vehicle didn't merge into the left lane and, thus, swiped both vehicles on the shoulder. the trucker was NOT the cause.
this sounds like u were merging. if thats the case the cars already on the highway dont have to move over. it would be nice but they dont have to. u and all the other cars getting on the highway need to make sure it's safe before u merge. its the law.

It looks to me that the semi was parked on the shoulder because it required maintenance of some sort. And, the guy who is videoing is the service tech who just had his truck demolished along with the drivers side of the broken-down semi. People need to pay attention to their surroundings whenever they're behind the wheel of a vehicle.

Omg at the stupid comments. The trucker was on the side of the road stopped getting tire repair by repair truck in front of it. Person in car didn’t get over in the other lane and somehow hit both trucks.

so to those that need clarification this was a semi and a F-550 I'm guessing repair truck that was working on the semi on the side of the road and somebody did not pull over and sideswiped both the semi and the repair truck that were on the side of the road more than likely a drunk person but that's why a lot of states have slowed down or pull over it's the law and that goes for tow trucks repair trucks and officers in those States that's not all states but a majority of states

Looks like the semi and the service truck might’ve been on the shoulder attending to a tire change and both got sideswiped.

He wasn’t merging. His truck was on the shoulder, you can eee that and so was the truck in front of him probably helping him with a problem. My understanding is if a semi is on the shoulder or police vehicle or whatever you are supposed to mover over.

Please semi truck side swiped me and kept going totaled my freaking car that I just paid off and he kept driving so not sorry these truck drivers weave in and out of traffic where I’m from accidents about every day on the highway I drive and it’s always semis

it's very hard for a semi to slow down as easy as a car / he can't merge to the left quickly he has to rely on your judgment with respect I get a thumbs up when I do the right thing and I'll do the same in return that's respect on the road

It’s prolly Scott’s Law or whatever, where if a car is pulled off right shoulder everyone gets in left lane. I swear a dozen times about got killed by idiots jamming their car into the left lane, even tho I’m already there and run me off road
Speaking from years of experience, my hubs is a RGN driver.. Always try to get over if SAFE, OR at least slow TF down and hug the dotted line, it could save yourself and others.

The semi broke down, and the dude in the work truck was roadside mechanic trying to fix it. The other car did not move over while the semi was broken down on the shoulder. IT IS A LAW that you have to move over or slow down!!

Not much room for a semi to be on the shoulder in the first place. Not a vehicle on the road can always determine when and where it’s going to stop on you. Cars going by have a legal lane right there to drive in. Trucker thinks they should get over(covering himself), they don’t have to. If I can’t get over, I slow down and pull to the left side of my lane as far as I can. Be respectful, YOU would be thankful if you were sitting there!
