I have a chest holster, it doesn't interfere with walking or running, it doesn't get caught up on anything, I can reach it in more positions, gives me more room around my waist for other things like knife, water, ammo, and tools

hope in the standing firing position.. mag empties.. its your last... your firing hand is already at chest height whether you're right or leg handed... your rifle is secured by solo sling.. you drop rifle and grab secondary that your hand is already at... no need for wasted motion. wasted motion is wasted time. wasted time equals death

I actually have to carry my 500 magnum in a bundle across my chest because the barrel is too long to be in a conventional holster. You’d have to be eight or 9 feet tall to pull that out of a holster with a 10 or 12 inch long barrel so you carry it across your chest because the only place that fucking work and it’s only for killing bears and elephant or something. I carry it when I go huntingfor the bears I don’t punch with it because it’s an absolute cannon and it hurts that shit but a 500 magnum will save your life.

I've never understood WTH troops don't wear their handgun strapped to the FRONT of their dominant thigh. It doesn't flop around as it will when running, no matter how lose the thigh strap is tightened. If anything, the fun/holster will be "flopped" fore and aft but that's the direction of the leg movement anyway, and the holster/pistol won't "flop" around. If not the front of the thigh, then on the chest is next best as it won't (generally) get caught on straps or distract the wearer as they run anywhere near as if it is hooked to the side/outside of the thigh. Just sayin'.
