Anytime you pick up a firearm assume it's loaded even if the person who handed it to you clears it and or tells you there's no round chambered. Everyone should learn firearm safety, proper handling of and how to shoot. Could save yours or someone else's life one day.

Press checking every time you touch your gun is unnecessary. I ALWAYS keep one chambered. No need to check. Unless my weapon leaves my sight or someone else handles it there’s no need to check my Shitt every time touch it

Lol. My friend Chris was hunting in the late 80s on a gas line or power line I think and he had a 30-30. A big ass 8 point buck walked out and he squeezed and there was nothing in the chamber. Then he slowly worked the action which can cause a jam on a lever action and realized he had no ammo at all in his rifle or pockets. 😆 😭
