I learned a trick last year. Place a tarp, old rug or pc of carpet, outside AND THEN WHEN IT SNOWS on it...all you'll have to do is lift a corner or 2 and pull it back to reveal the original ground the animal(s) will have that original ground smell for thier senses and (hopefully)do thier business on the ground. 😉 my 2 furbabies do not care for the snow. good luck!
