The dog has more heart than most humans. He immediately thanked the man which was just as important as eating. He saw a human that he wanted to be adopted by because he didn't want to be left alone to live that life. Many humans miss out on their cups overflowing with blessings from people that help them and will continue but they don't say thank you or show any gratitude. They act entitled for something that doesn't have to be given to them.

pulls at my heart makes me tear up animals are so smart they are not given the credit they so deserve. If anything they are smarter than humans. The only difference is humans have hands and are able to do what they can't and communicate if they could do that I can only imagine what their life could be like.
