for sure. Great memories to share for a life time. I was this young man age in the early 70's. pops tought me these same skills. wading the edges of the drop offs along Michigan's ausable rivers many dam impoundments. huge fish them days 4-5lb smallies and largies,, 10lb pike all day long. 12lb mono was light Iine. still have the cabin. and several generations now, thought the fish arnt the giants they once were, the happyness is the great grand children grinding them reels with that young mans smile.
