When I lived in Louisiana my bamboo pole didn't break. But I never caught a catfish that big. I did catch a big one though. Daddy fried it up just for me. 😁 I shared it with all my cousins. Good times!! 🥰

Awesome dude! When my brother and I were little, my g-father would take us fishing. We had cane poles! I remember we had a lot of fun catching sun perch. He would go fishing in the Ozarks and bring back huge catfish in a tank in the trunk of his car (this was in the '50's hence huge trunk for huge tank). He'd put them in the bathtub until the next day then clen them. He'd hang the heads on the shed to let the birds clean it and sun bleach the skull! Lots of good memories!
