I pray that no one was injured or killed due to this explosion. War has become such a nasty and disconnected version of what it used to be. I'm not arguing that war was ever good, but at the very least people looked each other in the eye and had a chance. Nowadays people just fling explosives at one another from as far away as they can be, they don't even see the faces half the time of the people they are murdering and so it becomes such an easy thing to do and live with after experiencing. Some of the most peaceful people recorded in history were war heros that had retired because they knew what real death looked like. The gravity of it all has lessened a great deal.
