pair of terminals is $9 for fk sake
no electrical tape didn't twist the ends the connection with fail by each of the individual tensile strength of that copper breaking theirs a reason you twist the ends together. copper is a weak metal it needs to be twisted to keep it from breaking

#1 If it's an emergency this type of connection could easily be made with electrical tape and the same zip ties minus the flaming plastic b.s. which not only give off toxic fumes youre breathing (which could explain alot, like why this video exists), but can also cause vapors escaping the battery to ignite causing an acid fueled explosion.(ie even if you do survived you'll look like 2 faces twin. reference batman the dark knight)
