How many people thought it was about to explode 😂💕
Back in the old days, we'd pour a 10 cent bottle of Coke on it...worked very well..
then all that acid is now on your other parts 😆
baking soda works much better
😳 just get you a Coca-Cola to be on the safe side
was waiting to laugh when it blew tf up😂😂😂😂
cola works too
try mt dew
I’m 47 yrs old. I knew about this when I was 16 yrs old from a mechanic who one inspected the very first car I had. This is very old news to most of us. Sorry buddy. Thanks for sharing though!
😂😂😂😂😂
it is not clean between the post and the end of the cable
side note that battery leaks
can of Coke will eat it right off there too
It cleaned the surface area but doesn’t clean the area between the connections… so ou have to disconnect the battery first so u gain access to the corrosion between the terminal and battery
I use white vinegar 🤷🏽♀️
we were always told to add a drop of dawn dish soap, it helps prevent some of the corrosion coming back temporarily, supposedly anyways
My husband uses coke a cola, eats it right off
I've been a mechanic for 100 years and they never seen no s*** like that. still got to take a loose and get the stuff on the inside though
soda does the same thing
A hot Coke works good
put dielectric grease it won't corrode
u put a penny on before Hot water
Just regular water 💦
It’s better to use coke and baking soda to neutralize the acid the use the hot water. Have fun with everything getting eat up with battery acid cause that’s not enough water to wash it all the way off the car need atleast a big pot of hot water or atleast a gallon of regular water after to wash it off everything
u should try coca cola it gets the job done 2 without being hot
warm water good 👍. 1 gallon of warm water with a tablespoon of baking soda and it will neutralize the acid that is all over the compartment stopping any more damage to the vehicle 💕
I use coke or baking soda and water
only half works, that water will only lead to more oxidation once again
hot baking soda water maybe
Thanks for the tip, brother
Well, if you would’ve added a teaspoon of baking soda to it, it would’ve bubbled all the extra shit from the inside of that battery terminal
I would still take the terminal off and clean it
I thought you were going to drink that
it will come right back couple days... take it off clean correctly put back on.damn people are lazy
You still need to brush and/or scrape, finish the job.
Just water will dissolve the crystallized acid, but when it dries the acid will re-crystallize and it could get on other parts of your car that’s why you’re supposed to mix it with an alkaline like baking soda or ammonia
cola, monster, redbull the list goes on
Why is it still dirty? 🤣🤣🤣
The dude in the background with the random “ 🥷🏿 “ killed me 😭💀
add baking soda much better or batter 😆🤔😳
where are these kids parents
7up or Sprite...do the same...but cleaner...
when a battery gives up its acid ...it's a sign of weakening...
And yall be wasting soda this whole time 😆😆😆😆
Baking soda and cold water works good too
they coke a cola
coca cola would have done it better
Until next year. Allow to dry and a few drops of oil.
I'm going to call BS before I try this I believe he's got some acid in that cup
