This is why nurses are being labeled unprofessional. I’m not talking about the nurse crying for a signature, but the nurse who sent her home and refused to sign so she could get paid on time. That nurse is bullying her, and this kind of behavior has become common in the medical field, making the whole profession look bad. The nurse being bullied is an agency nurse, which means she gets paid for showing up, even if she doesn’t work the full shift. But the agency needs a signature from a nurse employed by the facility to release her pay. Instead of doing her job, the facility nurse sent her home, refused to verify she was there, and then called the police on her. That leads to a DNR, because the police are not there to understand the situation—they are there to remove you from the property.

to all of you people saying she's unprofessional blah blah blah. One more time. if she needs a signature she's probably an agency nurse. for that shift she's probably making a good $900. without that signature she won't get paid. so I'm pretty sure those of you not understanding why she needs a signature etc never made that kind of money
