I don’t care what anybody says you are not supposed to come in or open someone’s door without a warrant or given consent to 😭 and you get 911 calls you are supposed to knock on the door and ask what’s going on and get everybody’s side of the story on why somebody calls the police

If someone was being held against their will and was actually trying to get help and the police didn’t come and someone lost their life or a family was being robbed or harmed and they just ignore a 911 hang up it would be tragic so I get why they do this and i would hope they would come to my aid if I called 911 and was unable to speak on the call

It may be different in other locations but they can force entry if there was a 911 hang up and the family inside refuses to allow them to speak to the caller, or shuts the door on them if they just broke the door down before knocking and asking then ya they are in the wrong
