Queens of denial. I hit a woman’s suv with my bicycle while I was up under it too! Jumped out screaming bloody murder saying on repeat how I hit herrrrrr! Traffic backed all the way up, cars full of people all watching how she hit her brakes three times, coming to a full stop 3 times and kept advancing tho there was heavy traffic that would take her a good five minutes to pull out onto the road, if a driver didn’t allow her to pull in front of them. Kept advancing tho she could hear and likely feel her vehicle rolling over and crunching my bicycle. Dear woman had her kids in the vehicle, their faces all plastered to the windshield, not a one in seatbelts & she worked at an elementary school where the theme that year was “ helping the less fortunate “. Looking really raggedy she managed to take up collections to get me a new bike yet used those funds to get her hair and nails done and come out with a few new outfits too! Genius!
