Let's use logic everyone, or better yet, our brains. See the female cop was told to go non lethal meaning she was told to not use anything that would harm the patient. While the male cop had a gun pointed at the patient. See here's where we use our brains: the patient was suicidal and everyone knows they'll get shot if they charge at an officer who has a gun in their hands. Hence she already wanted to kill herself which is why she went after the male officer who had a gun.
