if people are taking parenting classes when they're first becoming a parent they should make it mandatory to learn how to clear a child's airway CPR but even though you can learn those things and time of crisis in panicking some people can forget let's not forget that

This happened to me with my 1 week old! I remembered one of these videos I had seen so I started doing this after patting her on the back…. It still wasn’t working so I had to get my dad to help me I was freaking out but calm at the same time I remember when he took my baby I ran to go get my phone to call 911 as soon as I got upstairs he yelled she’s breathing and I just dropped to the floor and started crying so hard and let out the biggest breathe that I didn’t even know I was holding! Scariest thing!
