I saw an update to this. don't think it went to court yet. attorney for citizen asked court for cop to lose his qualified immunity. local court didn't agree and was taken to a higher court. it didn't give him qualified immunity because of cop basically making stuff up. so now it will go to court and cop has lost his qualified immunity which is fantastic. post I saw said driver is an attorney but don't know if that's true. just great sewing justice done toward this and hope to hear the outcome later.
