When my daughter was in middle-high school I cancelled Christmas because I didn’t like her grades!! I warned her! I followed thru!! Never had to again!! I sat and watched Lifetime all day!! She walked around mumbling!! I allowed no company and we did not leave the house! As a mom I was hurting as much as she was! Parenting is a job where discipline matters and “threats” carry no weight, unless you follow through!
He can forget about games,phone,new clothes,shoes,snacks. He’s going to regret them words. No movies,friends over. He will get the bare minimum.

A man in the house? Not in mine. My sons father wasn't a part of his life until my son turned 23. I only spanked him ONCE in his life. My son has NEVER been arrested, hurt animals, or disrespected elders, and has faith in God. He's healthy, doesn't do drugs, not an alcoholic, and has an engineering job for a entertainment park. And all this WITHOUT A FATHER in the home....I think I did good.😁😁😁

Well done Dad. The "no he didn't" part let that kid know that the level of disappointment is high. My son was disrespectful to his mother just one time in his life. I made him strip his room clean, with just a bed, desk, and lamp for 6 months. Phone was gone and made him post the ad to sell his Xbox, then made him do the transaction. These kids need to know you are serious and the starting point of your actions is THAT high.
