The way he did it was in a kind and loving way. He didn't do it as an insult even though it did hurt her a little bit, he didn't do it in an evil nasty way. My ex on the other hand would make comments about women that were overweight and say they shouldn't be at a buffet but then look at me hinting I was fat. It felt like a slap in the face and it really hurt my feelings, and that is not the way that you speak to someone your spouse. The other slap was, I was old and fat and over the hill. I just hope one day I can find a husband like hers one that will speak to me with care and love.
