He is not damaging the thief's stuff, the thief is damaging his own stuff by stealing someone elses gas can not knowing for sure what's in it.. Its his thieving neighbor that is putting an unknown liquid in his new $6K zero turn mower causing the damage to his own mower.

i watched someone pour 5lb of suger into a vehicle and nothing hapoend but... bleach. bleach will render ANY COMBUSTION ENGINE useless. 1/2 gal for a vehicle. 1/4 cup for small engines.

As a small engine mechanic I can confirm that sugar in gas does nothing but clog the Carb up and only sometimes. Just need to take it apart and rinse it out and its good to go again.

I did that before i put sugar in a gas can amd my neighbor always come to my yard and stsal mh gas and he used it. now his riding lawnmower don't work.
The last time I had this problem, I put 1 gallon mek and 1 gallon bleach in the gas can. Over revved and rust in a can. They never did it again and needed a new car after that. It was a 5 gallon can.
Some are saying the sugar guy is wrong. He's not. If the Zero turn guy can buy a mower for 6k he should be cautious about the Petro he puts in it to begin with.

Black Widow Spiders in a box on your porch waited for a porch pirate. Man almost died. Hopefully, that will deter others from continuing this practice. I would have just stopped leaving it outside. Or putting a security camera 📷 on it along with security lights that automatically come on would deter the naughty neighbor. Along with a stern warning ⚠️. Then, if you capture evidence, call 911.

I got some bad gas once but before I could siphon it out late late that night the neighbors did it for me 😁 you could hear their car spitting and sputtering as they drove out of the neighborhood. It was awesome 😂
