I can’t stand those trailers on the freeway. There is so much debris that flys everywhere. I’ve replaced 2 windshields because of them.
I was driving down the highway the other day with my brand new car and the car passing me on the left side ran a huge rock over and it ricocheted off her tire and hit the middle of my windshield. So they don’t just come off of truck.
Ive had many karens try to pull this on me they drive around with broken windshields and blame contractors.

Sorry but the truck driver is not responsible for any damage to your vehicle’s windshield. It’s called road hazards and there’s nothing that can be done about it. That’s why most states have your insurance company repair your windshield for zero deductible or replace it for your deductible cost.
They have signs that say they are not responsible for broken windows like that sign holds any legal weight
Years ago I was following behind a truck holding one of those machines that pile up sand and stuff like that and it was pouring rocks out from it. They covered a whole paint job on the car I was driving.
