it's outdated... it really is unfair that a married women that has never worked a day in her life can get her husband's Social Security in full. But a married couple who both worked all of their lived. why should the women only get one or the other Social Security. She should get the higher one plus half of her own. That's only fair. She's not asking for both Because they both worked. She is asking for the higher amount plus half of the other. only fair when A widow that never worked gets her husband's full Social Security and benefits

The whole program with SSI is a joke. The asset limit is a big and so is the marriage law. I also think the lawmakers they would have it cleared up before they finish this up before the Christmas vacation signed off before January 20..
