I really hope that out of respect for his children, that footage is buried never to see the light of day. I had a friend year's ago that died while on a king crab boat in the Bering. His foot was wrapped up in the line when the pots went overboard, and they didn't realize he had been trying to get free of it. By the time they could do anything to even try to help, he was gone. They were never able to recover his body due to the severe storm swells. That is a dangerous job on even more dangerous water.

I read on another platform, that he was inside a crab pot when it was inadvertently launched overboard. I presume that means he would have been dragged hundreds of feet to the sea floor, before he was recovered.
