Wow the arrogance! Obviously by your own account, there’s a reason he said, “the person I spoke to on the phone is a man”. Ever stop to think your husband introduced himself as the owner when he spoke to this guy. Not to mention, did you ever think to deflate that ego a little and consider? This guy was protecting your investment by going out his way to insure he was speaking to the actual owner! It’s an honest move on his part to not just take your word for it and speak to he originally spoke with! Always the victim though one way or another!
