If I was you, I would put this all over social media and put the business that screwed you over, out of business. The other people booked after you did. The other party had already sent out invitations? What?? Before they even tried to book with the crooks? He just flat lied!!
I think the judge made the right call. the entire amount paid for the original contract, plus the additional cost of the other venue is charging them. I'm sure it wasn't double booked until after the first couple paid in full (most likely another couple who wanted the venue so much and felt entitled to it), so they were willing to pay more money than the first couple who already paid in full)!! I'd have everyone I knew to write bad review on this venue, that they'd lose a lot of potential customers and hopefully go out of business. soon!! You should never treat your customers like this venue did!!!
Should also add $100,000 in damages
