Exactly. I donated GALLONS. One month-blood. The next month-platelets. I had to put eight weeks between blood donations. I could have just done platelets, but I always felt better for a few days after donating blood, so I alternated.

Lost track of my blood donations after 10 or 12 gallons. Had to stop after 45 years for health issues. It was always a great feeling to donate.

I have donated over five gallons. You must wait something like 6-8 weeks, maybe more, between donations. Not every week.
