it's a southern thing
I been calling everyone babe, honey, sweetie, sweetheart. Just outta ❤️ for ppl. Glad I ain't been shot down 👍
it's a southern thing and a lot of people don't understand that it's just a term of endearment you're going to get baby, darling ,sweetie, honey& hun all day long
Customer is right. Southern or not, sir is most appropriate.
The Hispanics call all women and little girls mama what’s the difference
1. she interrupted them to say that. 2. she was not treating the girlfriend the same at all
I say that and I'm NOT from the south....it's a term of endearment....that's it and that's all.💕
Wow, she’s extremely insecure. Everybody knows that in the south you call everybody baby. She was not hitting on him and if she’s that worried then maybe she’s too insecure to be in a relationship.
when I worked with the public I always called everybody hun or babe and I had some lady tell me not to call her husband hun because I was not his wife so I just look better and said okay hun you have a good day
Out of spite I would’ve said “Oh I’m sorry…Max baby you need anything else?”
She said I do not want your man!!👏🏽😂
It makes me feel special. I love the attention, especially if you're dealing with my food. Just a southern thing.
Baby it’s not a southern thing. It’s a white woman thing because they don’t want to say mam/sir. Nobody younger than me should be calling me baby and unless you’re my man. Nobody else should be calling me baby. Before that white women/men use to call grown black men/women girl/ boy. So stop lying. It’ offends me.
That’s just a young insecure woman
I'm from the south and hon , is not acceptable anymore. 💕
I better stop saying it cause I always call ppl baby
I have never called anyone honey, sweetheart, or baby unless they were really my honey, sweetheart, or my baby. I don't like people that much to give them terms of endearment. Sir, Ma'am, and Miss are the proper ways to address people. 👍
I love how the waitress told her " sorry I don't want your man" 😂.
Insecue????? No she's territorial !!! Latinas gaurd what's theirs ! 🥰
The server meant nothing by it--good grief!!!
Baby? Disrespectful in a million ways.
The question should have been: Do Y'all need anything else? Leave the "Baby" for men you know. Women have a way of being cunning with remarks.
Southern no thx
Stop being so jealous little girl , nobody wants your man.
don't call me or my man your pet names.
I say sweetie honey darling hun sugar. some time baby it a southern thing get over we dont change because how u feel we speak the way we were taught. polite respect if yr true southern girl. I told her I didnt ask fur his name didnt care to know it now can I help u
Wow! How insecure is she. I literally “ honey, baby, sweetheart “ my way through life.
I love the waitress...saying I don't want your man...get over yourself and your man...lol
It looks like your girlfriend’s got some major issues trust issues
She’s Latina. She’ll always call you out. Whether it’s her man or her kids and too bad if it’s cultural. It’s cultural for her too!!!!
You know what I work in the restaurant industry and I call everybody honey baby sweetheart, hon and to be honest yes I have had people correct me and say this is my name not babe or so-and-so so I tried to watch what I say now
I went to Denny's with my best friend and her husband and the waitress kept calling him sweetie, 😆 my best friend wanted to claw her nails into that waitress 🤣 I was like damn girl it's just the way we talk. Then she was mad saying I was siding with the waitress. 😆
I'm a northern white boomer and I use endearments all the time 🤔
Insecure lil thing isn't she??? Nobody wants your man just because they talk like that! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I use that term which was used by my mom, my aunt's, my grandma. It is a learned term and it does not mean anything derogatory against another woman's man. You can tell she's very young.
that girl has serious insecurities happening 😂
Geeze lady, relax.
Grow up.
Wow as a Louisiana native dude needs to school his girl. I’d be so embarrassed if I were him. I call everyone, regardless of gender, sweetie and dawlin
She's a little insecure to think about waitress is trying to steal her man lil
She's being silly. The lady wasn't flirting!🤔😲
love it
My husband got called baby by a southern lady the other day. I chalk it up to culture. Didn’t bother me in the least.
“I'm sorry, it's a southern hospitality thing, if I call someone baby, I do not want your man”—Aything else for you Hon?!? 😀😆🤣😂
talk about CHILDISH !
You can tell he was flattered his girl spoke up lol
I love when a old southern women be talking to me like that it makes my day
He looked so proud though.
Max understands it. Relax
She has jealousy issues
Every woman in the south should talk like that.
A very insecure woman. That lady didn't mean to disrespect her. How she's going to know his name if they're just passing through? She's Hispanic and will be HIS PANIC😂😂😂
“I do not want your man 💅🏼”
She's really a blood 🥴
It's called kindness.
yeah no one wants yo man 🤣 calm down 🤣
Jealous people get on my nerves. They are so insecure.
she was way nicer than I would have been!!!
She’s obviously very insecure. Maybe he should re think his relationship with with her
As my father was career military & my mother died when i was quite young, one grandma kept me in school on the west coast while i summered with the other in the south. Be offended (or embarrassed) when someone from the south responds "Well isnt that special" & smiles! Everyone is family in the south! ...I have 100 or so cousins with little or no blood relationship... 😆
😂😂😂😂😂 learning still lol
Calm down little Miss, no one is trying to snatch up for your man. Just eat your breakfast. No need to act desperate!
🥰😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 she told her.... stay in your state if you can't handle southern hospitality.
Maybe DEAR but not BABY 🤔
His Wife the waitress? 😉 the young gal is a looker
She’s insecure. LOL… it’s not like she’s in competition with the waitress.
In Louisiana, everyone is baby.
😆😆😆😆😆😆
