We don't have a Nursing " shortage" we have a moral burnout and salary problem‼️‼️‼️🫩 It’s NOT about how many bodies you turn out it's about retaining and treatment of the ones you have !!! " How fast" is NOT a good idea‼️‼️‼️‼️😵‍💫🤯

Nothing to fix nurse to patient ratios or hire ancillary staff. Without these two, nurses will continue to leave. I graduated in 1992 and nothing has changed.

My Niece is Graduating from Nursing College in the Philippines in June. Once she takes the Board exam and NCLEX, she will come to Florida and stay with us. She will have her choice of 6 hospitals in our area. Filipino Nurses are the best.

Let's remember to take into account the multitude of Nurses suffering from Covid PTSD. Every shift is a struggle. And be thankful we know when enough is enough and step aside from bedside care. Decent salaries and respect no longer exist. The recent statement that Nurses aren't considered professionals really didn't help!

Until hospitals are willing to properly staff, they will not be able to retain the talent they need. Dumbing down these programs to graduate more nurses will be a huge mistake.

Bring back Diploma nursing school, do all 3 shifts while in school , the best crash course hands on.. and reality training, maybe government could pay as you learn. Hands on is best training.. online 👎🏽sucks.. no reality or connection
