I'm going to keep it real 100%. immigrants do work four times faster. but the quality suffers. just like any job. when you take the time to do it right it comes out right and when you rush through it cuz you have a chip on your shoulder and want to show that you're faster than anybody else well you end up with these bumpy ass roads that we got around here and these houses with the shingles flying off. 💯

They are taking jobs getting state id and state benefits but not paying taxes the same when they are illegal… I know first hand how it works and yea they make the same money but again no taxes but they also take from tax paid benefits like ebt and hud/section 8…

skill labor ain't cheap and cheap labor ain't skilled. If they are here illegally, they are working for a lower rate and do not put the passion into thier work. I work construction long enough to see this. Now the onces that came here and where getting a fair wage damn they could work circles around me sometimes and they where proud of their work. as they should be.
My only issue is when they come and and undercut a whole industry to make a buck and give a bad name to others bc they are taking bottom of barrel jobs and not doing a good or proper job

my jobsite was raided here in Detroit. theres 10 abandoned trucks and we all got raises for sticking it out. we filled most the jobs now. theres plenty of real Americans willing to work.
I miss the 3 guys that came and did my yard, helped with garden and greenhouse. I shared the veggies and we had lunch for 100 twice a month
