Several things wrong with what you're on about. First its about $80b-ish a year to make college "free" just for one year. Point two, since 2010 California alone has spent $30b on homeless projects and they still have the highest homeless counts which is about 25% of the entire countries count of homeless. Third point is yes its $25b to eliminate hunger in the US. The primary problem with your argument is all those figures are yearly (except the homeless point). The amount given to Israel is a lifetime amount, not yearly. This isn't to say we should endlessly fund Israel. But trying to compare numbers and you're not doing it right. Also Elon Musk has come out very very publicly and said he would personally fund the project to end global hunger if someone can show him a legitimate plan without waist.... to date no one has done that.

Your numbers are way off. Just do simple math 1 million people are homeless. Let's say you could build 1 million homes for $300k each on average. Thats $300 billion and then about $30B a year to maintain those homes and cover utilities.
