So true here in the USA if you're under 21 you can't do anything like adults can except die for a country that looks at you as if you are a child .

I'm sorry, but Jessie Ventura is absolutely wrong, because in Minnesota where he's from the drinking age was 19 until 1986. I went into the US army when I was 17 under early enlistment in One month before my 18th birthday I spent my birthday in basic training then AIT, I then went to rasp training, airborne, air assault and ranger School at 18 and was able to drink because the drinking age was 18 in my state when I went in, 2 years later I came back from my first duty station from overseas on leave and my state changed it to 21, but the US didn't mandate a drinking age of 21 nationwide until 1986 by then Jesse Ventura would have been 35 years old.

I was 19 when I went into the military drafted I couldn't vote I couldn't drink and nowadays it's dumb but if you want to smoke you can't smoke in most places to your 21. you can't rent a car till you're 25 so the only thing in 18-year-old could do is go in the military That's it

l truly love and respect his service, loyalty and most of all Honer to this Great Nation we all live in..... but I think he might be just a little bit off base about the drinking age at that time, simple because the drinking age didn't go up from 18 teen to 21 not until the early eighty's or mid eighty's... But like the Great Patriot that he is absolutely correct, you can go and fight a war at that age but you can't come back and sit at a bar and have a drink just to clear the horrors that you had experienced... trust me I unfortunately have had that first hand experience myself serving four tours in Iraq...in Greatest and most lethal force in the world, The United States Marine Corps.... but when I got back state side nobody really gave me a hard time when I would go out to a pub....aspeculy in San Diego... coming back to barecks in Camp Pendleton.....God bless brother....

The drinking age used to be 18 and it only changed in 1984, so Jessie "The Body" Ventura is a lying sack. I was in the Navy when the law changed. On Dec 31st, I could drink at the EM club, on Jan 1, I couldn't. I turned 21 that April and could drink again.

This another point I could never understand.. Then I came to my own senses.. they make rules to be followed..while they do as they want.. They want you to man up or grow up only in the mind while children's get touched and destroyed by all they make up rule but they don't follow they own rules.. with all that have been posted and slang around social media about all their ordeals as far back to their own youth.. this man said enough to open some minds .. yall keep playing along, and when you get that scene, you will wish u stand up and do something about all this foolishness
