I think he needs to go to jail but if he’s tried as a child he will be out by the time he’s 25 if I’m not mistaken and that’s just not enough time for killing a person so charged as an adult is the only way to go unfortunately it’s sad but he did kill some one. He threw his life away doing something without thinking clearly and now he will be sitting in a 6/8 prison cell thinking about it forever.🤯😞🤯 I hate it for him being black or if he was white, I don’t care what race he is but I know most of the people on here believe because he’s black throw the book at him and that’s not how I feel, I feel he should be punished because he killed someone . We need to bring back the death penalty and use it within a year after a guilty verdict. any appeals has to be done within that year. no waiting for 20 plus years and endless appeals. the victims dont get an appeal or reduced scentence.🤔

Back in 2012 my niece was a 20 years old and and a Nursing student. She was shot and killed by some senseless person who was never found. My niece Ashley was my sister only child. My Sister passed away not getting the piece of my nieces killer getting what they deserve for taking Ashley away from her. My family and I pray that this individual is found so we can have justice for Ashley. it may not bring her back but that would be one less criminal on the street so they won't do it again. I pray for that victims family and that young man who killed him, family. I also pray that this young man gets help that he needs while serving his time.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

In January of 2025, 16 yr old Sean Simpson broke down in court when he learned he would be tried as an adult in the death of another 16 yr old in Gastonia Georgia. He is charged with the 1st degree murder of 16 yr old Z Dawkins and 1st degree attempted murder of a second person. Dawkins was on the way to the store when he was shot in a drive by. The two had previous disputes and had fought.Simpson is the first charged under a new law which went into effect Dec of 2024 which allows 16 & 17 yr olds to be tried as adults in certain crimes including murder. He was arrested at Galveston Adolescent Center which treats kids with emotional and behavioral difficulties. He was denied bail and assigned a Capital defender who handles indigent persons facing the death penalty. So sad.

Sometimes teens feel they won't suffer consequences because of their age. I feel bad for him, but he killed someone and will do it again if he doesn't suffer consequences. Hopefully this will teach other teens to think before killing someone.
