Rule of Thumb from a guy with 3 BIG Street Bikes ..2 Harleys and a Triumph...when in a seated position...you should be able to SIT or STAND and rock the motorcycle back and forth between your legs without effort and hands OFF of The bars comfortably...if you cant...then that particular motorcycle is to BIG for the rider...you can add a " Lowering Kit " or just purchase a smaller / shorter height bike.
