Is it a cultural thing for them? Generational? Just curious. As a mother of 2 daughters in their 40s and a grandmother of 5, I can't recall a time when I criticized their weight. I've always been happy that they live their lives well because I did my job and grateful for their good health. Unfortunately that has recently changed but I'm hopeful that we will manage the challenges of the journey with grace. I truly believe that your mom and aunt have the most loving intentions where your weight is concerned. Chalk it up to that and continue to love yourself the way you should. They probably have no idea that their words have hurt you. If they ever realized that they've caused you pain I know they would feel terrible about being the cause of any hurt feelings. Hang in there sweet girl!! They each love you very much. 💜
