No sadly what people are looking for is the melting point of steel but that's not what happened during the twin towers attack the steel has a melting point of course but it also has a point at which it breaks but doesn't melt and it's a way lower temperature and that's what happened to the towers during the attack

Someone hasn’t taken any general engineering courses, the jet fuel would have ignited due to the engine heat, impact and over pressure of the ignition thus causing the temperature to rise between 1400-2000 degrees not significant enough to melt steel beams but it would weaken their integrity as much as 50% maybe more. Impact estimated speed of 466 mph to 494 mph, %2B each plane weighed 150 tons %2B a flash point of around 2000 Degrees = total building collapse. No I’m not an engineer but the math works out.

Jet fuel is a combustible fuel, not a flammable fuel. My guess is a plane exploding into a building is enough combustion to ignite the jet fuel. I’m not a scientist, but I think I’m on something. 🤔

as someone who works with jet fuel on the daily for reference jet fuel burns like desiel but slightly hotter (could be wrong we dont burn it but we go over the saftey for it) though harder to light and burns very hot it CAN NOT MELT STEAL

well it's because of the degrees that the fire reached that ignited the jet fuel because in that test that they were demonstrating the lighter wouldn't ignite the jet fuel because there's no vapors and the only reason why gasoline ignited is because it lets off more vapor that's why it ignites
