IF you was driving at 115mph.... BY LAW you are NOT driving any where your car is being impounded and you would be charged with reckless driving and possibly arrested. This was a MONEY trap attempt.

At 115 mph they should've just removed him from his vehicle as a danger to all on the road. They chose to argue with him about how fast he was going instead. This leads me to believe the speed quoted is false...just saying.

Take them a court and find out the certification on the radar when's the last time it was calibrated the paper trail on the daily use of it most of the time they haven't done any of that so the radar's not very accurate

Its mounted in the car with a display thats seen by both the driver and passenger geez people accept when you do something wrong and move on. Its childish to argue on the side of the road thats what court is for.

This is a very reason why people have no trust and they do not respect officers! They are lying. They pulled up to a car that was going 115 mph. They’re lying! Their cars couldn’t even catch the car that was going 115! I know this guy and trust and believe he fights every ticket and you know how many cops don’t show? Exactly that’s why he wins the majority of his tickets because lying cops do not go to traffic court!
Legally they don't have to show you the radar because its part of their damn car and doesn't come out. Probably different with a motorcycle cop but I don't think they even use hand held radar anymore. You go to court and fight it NOT argue on the side of the road.
just remember...if you ask for the calibration of that very camera...they have to produce it at request being tested before their shift...if not...no ticket

Been there and had that happen. The officer refused me the right to see the unit and it's last calibration date. Because I was on the local ambulance crew, he said he knew that I speed. I explained he did too. I had him and I ended up with a verbal warning. FYI, I only speed when driving the ambulance if the situation is needed. Same as he does. I have an ill patient, he doesn't.

In Green NY I was pulled over for going 70 in a 55. Cop said his machine was not working so it was my lucky day. That I was free to go. Two months later I received a court document that my license was set to be suspended and a warrant would be issued for my arrest because I missed two court dates for a speeding ticket. I went to the new court date. The judge n DA did not have a ticket for me. They said it was in system so I still had a ticket for speeding. They lowered it to a moving violation w 4 points on it. I requested the ticket. Nothing. Was told it would be mailed to me. Nothing. I ended up having to settle w for the moving violation n the 4 points with a $150 fine. Put in a complaint. Put in a formal request to obtain the original ticket. Nothing. Now the case is closed so now they r saying that I can’t obtain the ticket because the case is closed since I accepted the plea deal. Crooked. N I know I wasn’t going 70. I was going 50 mph. Cause it’s a speed trap zone in green.
Big mouth punks start any kind of trouble. Get a life.
