and you just screwed the door up good going your not a mechanic if that how you fix it
well you might be able to do them if you loosen up the bolts first, just enough so you can move the door, then tighten them back up and check it then,, just pulling on the sheet metal like this. it will only bend back and be in worse shape cuz you're stretching the metal.. what they're showing here is not what's done in any body shop and if it is,, go to a different body shop

Didn't show the problem before he did the fix. Alot of Videos on here is suspect. People always gotta manipulate everything they touch
that's being industrious I'm guilty I did it with a 2x4 LOL seems like every S10 I had had that issue bushings wore out 🙈🙄🤓

I did door adjust on Jeep Wranglers assembly line for 2 years and that is pretty much how we did it
I wish we'd has one of those years ago when I was in my teens, my mother's cars doors used to wear out and drop. Technically we should've replaced the hinge pins (older cars you could do that) but my stepfather was a drunk and didn't do anything the "right" way. So we'd have to jack the doors up every so often.
If you see a shop with this tool, drive away. Don't ask just leave.. as demonstrated the chrome window trim is now 1/8 to 1/4 below the rear... gaps are time-consuming and done properly will last the lifetime of a normal vehicle.. this method shown will last as long as they can see your tail lights..

People don't realize that car door hinges, latches and strikers need to be lubricated occasionally, THEN, all of those parts won't develop wear and tear ever, or for a very long time. The driver's door needs it the most often. It's Not rocket science.
