Get a lawyer. File charges against the police and neighbors. I never heard of police saying something like that without proof of any animal being dangerous. Has the dog had visible bite marks accused of by a neighbor? No oh well then screw the neighbor. I would fight that. Also so what all dog owners should do bring your dog to obedience school and prove your dog is not dangerous. Keep a working video camera on your child at all times and keep your dog with you when baby is sleeping. Also show that on camera. I have a bad feeling a neighbor like yours will harm your child and blame your dog.

Be honest, have your dogs ever bitten, or tried to bite, your children? If not, I would fight it like hell, because they are only going by what that neighbor Karen is saying. Have they tried to go after the neighbor before or do they do other things like go into her yard or bark a lot? If any of that does happen, she's just reporting them so the cops will handle it and make you get rid of them.If you lose your case, do you know anyone that would take them in, preferably in a rural area, where they can run and play on their land? Do you rent or own your house? If you rent, maybe you can look into moving when your rental agreement is up, so you can get out of that area. Please let me know what happens in the end!
